Q. When I enter the made to measure curtain measurements do I need to allow for the gather (fullness) on the curtain?
A. No, just enter the width of the pole or track (Not the window) and then we'll take care of the rest as the calculations within our web site allow for plenty of gather (fullness) to create a luxurious finish for your curtains.

Q. If I order more than one pair of made to measure curtains with the same drop would you pattern match them?
A. Yes, we would realise from the same drop measurements that they are for adjacent windows, so we would pattern match them all. You could also add a note during the order process if you wish.

Q. Do you supply made to measure curtains in fabrics not displayed on your web site?
A. Yes, we have many thousands of fabrics available which are not displayed at any one time, please click here to send us your requirements.

Q. If I have difficulty fitting my curtains would you help?

Q. Do you send out curtain hooks with each order?
A. You will receive enough pin hooks for all pinch and goblet pleat headings.

Q. Can I install a pole or track after my curtains have been delivered?
A. Yes, but to achieve an accurate finish you will have to adjust the height of pole or track to coincide with the finished curtain drop.

Q. How would I know how to clean my curtains?
A. Our fabrics do vary, so you should always refer to the washing instructions supplied with your order. Please bear in mind that most linings are dry clean only and that fabrics and linings may both shrink, even at different amounts. Using a vacuum with the correct attachment and suction level is normally adequate to keep your curtains clean.

Q. Will ironing my curtains cause any damage to the fabric?
A. That depends, if your fabric is suitable for ironing then only use a tepid setting and iron from the inside. Please allow a few weeks for the creases to fall out of your curtains.

Q. Will sunlight affect the colour of my curtains?
A. Direct sunlight for a prolonged period would cause any fabric to fade, although the lining will give added protection, especially blackout linings.

Q. How long would I have to wait for my made-to-measure curtains?
A. Normally within 14 days, although this does vary with demand and your location, so please take a look at our delivery details. If you would like them sooner then please click here to send us your request.

Q. How do I know which width size ready made curtains I should order?
A. All our ready made curtain are sold in pairs, so a 90 inch wide pair of curtains would fit a 90 inch pole or track as each pack would contain two curtains each of approximately 90 inches before gathering, below is our guide:
Pole or Track width up to 48" (122cm) - Recommended curtain width 117cm (46")
Pole or Track width 48" to 66" (122 - 168cm) - Recommended curtain width 66" (168cm)
Pole or Track width 66" to 90" (168 - 228cm) - Recommended curtain width 90" (228cm)
The above recommendations are based on two times gather but anything between 1.5 and 2.5 is acceptable according to the amount of fullness you would like.
